audrey is the international student advisor in roseworthy campus. she is a lovely person. she was so kind to invite us for dinner at her house. my dad tak ikut sbb it was a cold day and dia malas nak keluar. she also invited her sister , val and brother in-law , gary for the dinner. it happened to be that gary used to work in malaysia long long time ago. maybe in the 70s. he worked as a teacher in Pekan.
audrey took the trouble to get halal meat for us.that was very nice of her.she cooked mango chicken and beef -i-dont-know-what. sedap!
and we brought a cake for dessert.audrey prepared a pavlova for dessert.
we had a good time.

every sunday, ada market kat gepps cross.gepps cross is about 45 minutes drive from roseworthy.kene bayar $1 per person per entry. the market starts at 8, and suppose to end at 11, tapi selalunya pukul 12 pun tak abis lagi. kat situ ada jual sayur, bua and barang2 second hand, mcm garage sale la labih kurang.
so 1 sunday morning, we went to gepps cross together with irida.sayur n buah murah.mama borong sayur bnyk gile.then kitorg beli donut yg sangat besar , $2. tapi tak sedap pun

on our last day in sydney, tak pergi mana2 sgt.just pergi breakfast - konon nak makan kat mamak tapi tutup.kedai tu tak buka pagi, lunch baru bukak.bosan betul. then tunggu van nak gi airport.tu pun satu drama jugak.kitorg dah booking awal2 tp van tu lupa, so kene tunggu next trip.cuak la company van tu bile kitog cakap dah lmbt.driver tu bawa van macam org gile.n kitorg pun berlari-lari kat airport.nasib baik sempat. sampai adelaide, gi makan then balik umah.
overall it was a great trip. i hope to go there again one day, this time nak pegi bondi beach n naik hop on hop off bus tu.

kejap je dah masuk 3rd day kat sydney.pas jumpa tok ya, kitorg pun balik, and beli dinner.
third day tu, kitorg nak gi taronga zoo yg glamer tu.mula2 bekfes dulu, mcd lagi then naik monorail gi circular quay, pastu amik tiket whole day sekali ngn tiket ferry.
nak gi taronga zoo kene naik ferry.best naik ferry tu.sampai kat taronga zoo kene beratur plak nak naik cable car.sungguh menarik sekali.
taronga zoo sangat besar, and penat jugak la nak pusing satu zoo tu.org pun ramai.puas hati la gi zoo tu.
pas abis gi zoo, kitorg gi makan kat kedai "mamak".ingatkan org mamak or india, tp org cina malaysia.ada roti canai yg sedap tp mahal gile, dekat AUD4.50.
selepas makan, kami pun pulang dan tido

so the first day at sydney was exciting and tiring.bnyk jalan kaki ke sana sini, haruslah menjadi penat. after the walk to opera house, we went back to the hotel and rest.then malam keluar cari makan.
the next day, after having a good night sleep, we went to the aquarium and jln2 naik monorail and also pergi rumah tok ya at bondi beach.
the aquarium is magnificent! sangat suka. the second day, naik monorail pulak.oooh terlupa, after the aquarium trip, we went to paddy's market, tempat untuk bershopping souvenier yg murah. best n sgt banyak barang yg henak dibeli. bila tengok sekali, paddy's market tu macam padang besar pun ada.
kami pun bershopping dengan sepenuh hati.saya yg duduk australia ni pun membeli tak ingat! hahaha
then we went to tok ya's house somewhere in bondi. ot was already late, so tak pergi la bondi beach yg glamer tu. tok ya served kuih2 malaysia- seri muka n ntah apa nama dia.best best. unfortunately, my camera takde bateri, so tak sempat la amik gamba ngan tokya.
that nite, we had pizza for dinner, bought the pizza at a muslim shop, org arab kot, ke jordan,taktau la mana tapi middle east la.then zzzzzzzzzz

Dah lama saya tak meng update fotopages. Very busy, plus very the malas nak pilih upload gamba anyway, here are some pictures during our trip to Sydney. Masa ni Easter holiday, dapat la cuti 4 hari, so leh la jalan jauh sikit. Best juga pergi Sydney, rasa cam kat K.L.
We got cheap flight tickets (Jetstar) but very early in the morning la, 6.20 am! Keluar umah kol 3 lebih am kot.Awal gile.Sampai kat Sydeny Airport, ada org tunggu. Accomodation ada arrange transport from airport to the hostel. The accomodation was ok, tak best sgt, but okla for the amount that we paid. It was in town, and walking distance to many interesting places.First day kat sana, melilau jugak la cari kedai makan, and finally managed to find a few halal places.On the first day, pergi Opera House, Hyde Park, Botanical Garden, Circular Quay. Tu pun dah letih giler sbb jln kaki.

Lesley organized a trip to Largs Bay for the International Students while my parents were here. Largs Bays is about 40 minutes drive from Roseworthy, and i think it is quite near to Port Adelaide. Lesley drove the farm van, and Pak Liem drove his car. We walked around the beach and jetty. We also saw people crabbing.The crabs are big! Had dinner at the Fish n Chips shop. Got lost on the way back.hehehe but overall, it's a nice trip.

we had a makan2 with irida, ibu dessy and pak liem.
irida brought delicious pecal, and ibu dessy baked tuna morney.

all the new postgraduates are required to attend a postgrad induction on the 28th of february.
while i was busy listening to the lectures, adi n my parents walked around the city.
then , we had an appointment with jane, the international officer incharge for reoseworthy students.

i had a miscarriage on the 8th of february 2008 , friday, 5.30am.it happened very fast, and i am grateful that i did not feel much pain during that period.we went to the hospital straight away, and i had a D&C.i was discharged from the hospital in the afternoon.
not long after that, my parents arrived.my mum brought all this "jamu" thingy.hehehe
